Foxember's Fursuit Terms of Service

Please read all the following carefully. By commissioning us you are agreeing to our terms of service.

Payment & Refunds

The client will pay 30% of the quoted price as a down payment towards materials within the first week of acceptance. This is non-refundable unless canceled by Foxember’s. The rest of the payment may be made over a 6 month period maximum. Suitwork will begin once initial down payment is received and materials arrive (& DTD if required). As for refunds, should the commissioner cancel, it will be given on a percentage basis based on how far the suit is towards completion. After completion of the suit, there are no refunds given.

Completion & Deadlines

We do not work under deadlines, but can give a general timeline based on payment plan & queue. Failure to keep up on payments or not sending a DTD will push suit work back. We do work a fulltime job outside suit making, so please bear that in mind when commissioning.

Changes

After a design has been quoted, approved and accepted changes may be made with the understanding that pricing may increase based on materials & complexity. No changes can be made once work on the commission has been completed.

Repairs

Upon receiving your suit, should you notice any flaws, they will be fixed free of charge (first 48 hours). All suits come with a 12-month warranty of free minor suit repairs (popped seams, loose glue etc). Large repairs, and repairs after the 12-month warranty, will come with a charge. Any alterations to the suit not by us will void any future repairs. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the suit owner.

Age

We do not take commissions from anyone under 18. You are required to provide proof of age if your slot is accepted.

Allergy warning

We work out of a pet friendly home (cats).

Shipping

Client is responsible for paying shipping costs. After the suit has left the workshop and enters the shipping phase, we are no longer responsible for damages or loss. The commissioner is welcome & encouraged to purchase insurance for the coverage of their package. This cost is covered by the commissioner. Local Pick up available for CO residents.
